Default 92 Ram 250

Hey Guys,
This is my first dodge. Just acquired it this week.It has the 360 in it and runs great! I bought it with the check engine light on. Gives code 41 and 37 can any tell me what they think may be setting these codes. It drives fine and shifts good as far as I can tell. 96000 original miles, been sitting in a hay barn for 16 months or so. By the way there are two loose wireing connections on the driver wheel well may be related to CE light, no obvious place to plug them in.

All right guys. I got the code 41 taken care of. It took some searching and looking, but someone appears to have bypassed the PCM in the past. Got all the wiring straightened back out and hooked up. After getting it straight sure enough the PCM was gone. Replaced that, now the Alt is charging and regulating correctly. STILL getting 37 code. Does anyone know how critical this may be and how to diagnose. Also what symptons would I be seeing while driving, if it is malfunctioning? Drivability seems ok. By the way this is strictly a tow vehicle, trans needs to be tip top and trustworthy. This code bothers me!!!

Thanks GO

The code 37 is a code that almost ALWAYS comes up. I've found out the following about it:
"If you have a 4x4, then you have an A-518 tranny which has a non-lock up torque converter. Code 37 is basically a default code on our trucks, kinda like 12 and 55."

"code 37 is a phantom code if its a four wheel drive,it unlocks torque convertor at part throttle acceleration"
