My 1992 D150 (3.9L v6) has an error code that translates overdrive solenoid malfunction. I didn't even know it had an overdrive. Nothing indicates it. There is no OD switch on the dash or any kind of over drive graphics on the gear indicator. The under-the-hood info plate states "Standard 3 speed Automatic Transmission". This morning I have found some old reviews that state that all 1992 D150 3 spds have an automatic overdrive. Does anyone know the facts on this?
