hey guys,
bought an 85 2wd ram 150 on saturday, test drove fine, drove it to school for a few days, great truck but drove it home today and now the transmission is totally stuck. it feels like it wont let 2nd gear go so when in neutral it bumps forward, will jam solid when 1st and reverse are engaged and wont even think about going into 2,3 or OD. is it totally shot? i only paid 700 bucks for the truck, but im a broke-*** grade 12 and really dont wanna pour money into this.
any help would be awesome!

I'm assuming it's a manual trans? Check the linkage, possibly fell apart or out of adjustment.
