Default throttle body spacer? base gasket?

Before I mount a new rebuilt holley tbi on my 318, Is there a spacer that I can get for it??

I havent looked closely but, I think I see an old one thats damaged. Its some kind of spacer or it could be a torn thick base gasket??

The Mopar part# for what they call an insulator is 4324081. The last time I discussed this with anyone it seems that the Mopar one was more like a spacer and the aftermarket part was more like a bunch of gaskets laminated together. Either way, it's a spacer/insulator. I don't believe that Mopar sells this anymore but there may be some NOS ones still available. NAPA will be able to supply the aftermarket part. I can't get into their site right now or I would post the part#. www.rockauto.com might have them too. Also 318 takes a different spacer than a 360 due to throttle body bore size.

NAPA# is Part: FPG 60821 for the 318 (FYI-this is actually a Fel-Pro gasket/part#)
Can try other local auto parts stores but I see some are getting big $$$ for them!

If that doesnt work than order from www.rockauto.com under AIRTEX Part # 1G1218 or FEL-PRO Part # 60821

I use Rockauto quite a bit...here's a discount code for an extra 5% off. I don't work for them.

Thank you for being a RockAuto.com customer! To show our appreciation, we have a special discount for you.

Your discount code is:

1048864720895

Using Your Discount Code
Enter the code above in the "How did you hear about us" line of the shopping cart. If you are using our traditional HTML catalog, please click the "Apply" button to the right of the field. Your discount will automatically appear, subtracted from your order total.

Please note: We sometimes get calls from people who put the word "discount" in front of their code and do not get the discount. Please enter ONLY the discount code, no other words or numbers.

The discount takes 5% off our already-low prices. There's no limit on order size or the number of orders. Use the code for your next order, and share the code with friends, neighbors, relatives, the guy at the corner garage--anyone you know who works on cars or trucks.

This discount code expires on November 30, 2008; so don't wait!
