I saw a old dodge similar to mine on ebay but, the exhaust comes out of the hood, how does that work?? I wanna do that. Heres a picture of that truck.

was it like a snorkel kit?

the only thing i can think other then somebody custom made that was that they modified a Jeep product (since the 5.2 manifold is common)

I guess it was a snorkel kit?? How do you open the hood with that pipe sticking up like that??

I wanted a diesel look with the exhaust going up like that, I guess I can run the stack behind the cab on the outside..

 

never mind, I figured out what im going to do.

cut back just before the cab ends, put the cat then take a 90 degree bend pipe add the muffler, cut a hole in the flat bed and continue the pipe out a little higher. Might need to add a bracket to the hold the stack.. Maybe would have to make the hose that connects to the cat. longer but that shouldnt bee too hard. Using 2 1/4 ID exhaust pipe.

yep sounds good. I thought that you were talking about a stack that comes out the front through the cowling like snorkel

 

they do that on derby cars here all the time. Some of them get really creative and put 90s on all 8 so they have 8 stacks up through the hood
