alright i found a ram 350 at the junkyard (1982-1987) i think, on it it has a holley 4334 carburetor, those are the numbers that i saw on the carb, and i was wondering if that would fit on my 1986 318, the guy only wants $50 for it which i thought was a good deal? did dodges come with holley carbs stock from the factory?

 

i think they came with carters

 

I have two 87's, a D100 and a 5th ave. both with 318's and Holley two barrels original equipment.

 

they came with lots of different carbs.

the holley 2 bbl that charlie has

4 brl Carter

Rochester Quadrajet (Factory, on 360s, not sure if its factory on 318s but ive seen it lots)

and a few Thermoquads on the early ones.

318s went TBI in 91 i think.


PS that carb you found in factory reconditioned shape is worth about 200 bucks give or take

 

318s went TBI in 88. That`s why I converted mine to an Eledbrock performer 600.

 

did you get better power and mileage?

 

I haven`t got it back on the road yet. But I can guarantee it has better power thanks to the huge cam and Edelbrock intake. Not to mention the headers and my port and polish work.
