Default dodge front axle reveiws

Hi there

I am looking for info. On how the 4x4 actuator works

where the disconnect collar sits when the 4x4 is applied. And if you can find pictures, would be great.
Thanks

Not clear on exactly what info you need, but the vac. operated system sucks. Why not buy a cable conversion kit and do away with the vac. crap?
I put an '82 ? [ Came with truck not sure of it's origin] axle under the front of my '86, did away with all the vac. stuff. Soon as the auto hubs break I'll put some manual hubs on it.

I`m going to put the cable system on my truck too. I hate it when the front axle flexes and the vacuum line pops loose.
