1988 D100 Loops and Stalls at Idle
Don't know how to check one yet.. Just thought I'd let you know I seen a 1988 Dodge Truck Manual <Mopar issued> on EBay last night.
I was looking for a 1988 Van version and sure enough I found 4 of them.Prices ranged from $60 to $7.50... Yep I got the $7.50 one on a Buy It Now and on its way for $12.50 to my Mailbox..
I have these big specific manuals for each of my Jeeps and T Bird , they are unreal.

OK ....
I got my manual and have been reading through it. Looks as though I have a modified engine and now I don't know where to start. What I have is a 360 that has been put in place of the 318. When I had this done back in 95 I had no idea that the '88 360 didn't come with EFI and running with a SEMC. I just found out that the '88 360 was a 4V carberator and used the ICU to control engine.
So how did this mechanic get this to work? I wanted a direct swap when I had the engine swap. I was unaware that the 318 was the only V8 with EFI. He installed the 360 with the EFI and using the SEMC..
Wouldn't this be restricting my 360 all these years?
Is there a modern kit to upgrade a 1988 360.?
I'm currently lost on this. It is also getting too cold to work on this outside as it will not fit in the garage.
Any suggestions?
