Default Fuel transfer pump

I'm looking ofr advice and how-to on replacing the low pressure fuel pump. I have limited facilities - working outside in anchorage AK. what is source for fuel pump part? is this feasible for outside repair?

as for the repair. working on gas tanks is a pain. especially in the cold.

the difficultly level is all gonna depend on ho corroded everything is. You just need to unhook the lines and get the strap off, then the tank falls out (make sure its empty). Then if the seal where the sending unit plunks down is all corroded its a huge pain and oyu load it up with glue or watever but chances are it will leak again. So it should be an easy job, but it can be tough. Straighforward though.

pricewise, just google "dodge ram (year) fuel pump". ive seen them for anywhere from 30 to 200 dollars. I dotn see why a cheap one would fail you in less then 5 years.
