bucking at 45

Default bucking at 45

my truck ahs been bucking at 45 and wont let me go past 45 and im not liking that and when i try and hit the gas while its doing that it acts like it want to cut off the rpms drop extremely low any ideas as what it could be. ive checked plugs they are good. oh btw its a 82 w150 with a slant six and 1 barrel

Check your fuel pressure, I`ve seen cars without adequate fuel do that. You might also check the fuel filter.

do you think it could be timing i over heated when my fan tore into my radiator. so anyone know the timing settings on the 3.7L 225? and where the timing marks are?

well after alot of trial and error....seems to be choking out really bad i took of my choke plate and it runs ***** to the walls now but its a bitch to start on a cold morning and my carb could def need a rebuild or i just need a new one...next thing to tackle is my exhaust mani has a crack on the outlet closet to the rad.

my 85 did that a couple years back it was still factory fuel filter.....the previous owner did take to good of care.....i changed that and it ran great
