Default Drivers Side Lock Troubles!!

This winter I was doing some work to my car and needed my breaker bar that was in the truck. The lock was stiff, so I got some lock de-icer and sprayed in it. Well I got it to turn a little bit, and then bam loose. I sat there and thought to myself how stupid I was. Well to get to the question, I want to know if the lock is broken. It turns both ways with no grinding feel and stops where it did before just really easy to turn and doesn't unlock. I don't have any expeirence with locks so I thought I would ask on here. It is a 1990 Dodge Ram LE with power locks. Thanks for the help, much appreciated.

sounds like you popped the rod insie the door. It happens allot... Usually it's a plastic piece that connects the rod to the lock cyl... Pull the door panel and you should see where it's broken off... Go to a Junk yard and get another piece, or rig something stronger...

Here is a picture from the internet, to give you an idea of what it looks like.. Ignore what it says, just you can see the plastic piece that connests the actuator rod to the lock..
