Removing spray on bed liner
I have removed a few spray in liners where I work. Depending on the brand there's a different option for each. First is to start with a small opening, cut or rip a section out then use MEK (http://www.tapplastics.com/shop/product.php?pid=33) its nasty but not as bad as acetone. It will help loosen the grip up on the metal or paint. It will remove paint and clear coat if you get it where you dont want it. Some spray in liners like LineX need more muscle than anything else. We try to take a sharp blade and cut strips dont the length of the bed about 6-10" wide and try to rip it off. Some just take a good old metal wire brush on dewalt grinder... TAKES A LONG TIME! Check out the brand if possible or let me know what the texture is... if its gritty, soft, rubbery or whatever and ill try to help.
