From what I've gathered from reading, the stock 2bbl's about 325 cfm. Whether that's accurate or not I can't prove or disprove. Reason I recommened a 600 vac secondary with a 25-2800 spring in the back for a modified 318. Not too big on the front two, more available if it wants it.

There was a smog pump system on it when I got the truck for my stepdad, but it is off of there now and no cat too.

Default Tired of fighting electronics.

I have a 1989 W 150, 318 stock engine, auto trans, TBI. I am tired of fighting the electronics nightmare. Would like to go back to pre electronics situation. I know I have to get a new intake and carb and distributor and fuel pressure regulator. Am I missing anything else? Any recommendations on all this stuff would be appreciated. I am looking for good power but nothing crazy as the truck is used for work ie snow plowing and hauling loads. I would like to not have to go inside the engine but am not opposed to the idea of headers if needed for more power.

Hi Seal,
Do whatever you can to improve the flow efficiency of both the intake & exhaust systems. Its really how much you are willing to fork out for a plow truck.
