i found a 5 speed transmission nv4500 for 4x4 out of a 97 dodge. it doesn't have the bell housing. it said it would also work in a chevrolet.

my question is would it bolt up to my bell housing and transfer case out of a 90 4x4 dodge 3/4 ton with a 360 motor

 

You have a stick now or an auto? Probably a good question to send over to Advanced Adapters, if it won't bolt right up then they mught have an adapter to make it work.

 

Unless you had a NV 4500 in your 90 before, which I dont think it would have, Then you need a new bellhousing. The bellhousings are fairly cheap for these. I have a 93 with a NV4500 and a 318. The bellhousing from any truck with a NV4500 and a 318 or 360 will work on that. The bellhousings are cheap, the NV4500s are not. Dan
