My new convertible
Hey lugs, looking good. Just thought I'd throw in my two cents worth. was looking at it and thought ma, one of those lund race back cab fairings would look sweet with a couple of off road lights up there, plus it might help keep a bit of sun from hammering right in the back window. A comment on the side rails in the back, rather then plastic, could you modify a pair of rail caps to fit the tops? Or depending on how much work you want to do, cut the top of a box off and section that in so you would have the rails themselves. But anyway I just wanted to let you know it looks great.
Speakin' from experience are ya?
Now then, thanks guys. I considered cutting the bed rails off a crashed long wide I have, but it'd take a lot of body work and bondo to cover it up. Hadn't thought about the fairing. I'm gonna put in a Chris Alston's Chassis Works 12 point roll cage at some point, will take some rearranging of the rear down tubes to work with the pop out window. It's $400 with freight. Not bad. http://www.jegs.com/p/Jegster/749663/10002/-1
I have an idea on how to do it, includes a light bar, will draw up a couple different ideas and post 'em. See what you guys think.
