Default Need a lil help

I'm new to the site and was hoping to get some help. I recently bought me a 1979 D100. It originally came with a 318 with a 2 barrel carb. It now has a 1 barrel carb and intake on it. The thing I need help with is what this motor was used in so i can look for a carb rebuild kit for it. I had a 79 D150 a couple years ago that also had a 1 barrel intake on it. I was told it came off of a van but wasn't told what kind. I'm not sure what brand carb it has either. Any help with this would be appreciated.

Make sure it REALLY is a 1bbl. The Carter 2bbls that Dodge ran for years look like a 1bbl. If you can take the carb off or look down the throat of the carb. You probably actually have a Carter 2bbl.

I got my dad to look at it today and it turned out to be a 2 barrel. It's just small where the air cleaner goes like a 1 barrel. Thanks for the help though. Where would I be able to find out which carb I have?

Normally there is a tag on one of the screws on the top of the carb. If there is you should be able to take that into just about any parts house and they should be able to fix you up.
