Default I hit a deer, need some help finding...

Hello all,

Last fall on my way to work i hit a deer with my 1982 150 custom. I am needing some help hunting down a replacment grill, left headlight, and a new left fender. Can anyone give me a little help locating these parts?

Thanks, Aaron

My truck before the hit.

I have a fender. It has a small dent in the top, but nothing a little Bondo couldn`t take care of.

i just did a massive search for similar stuff. cheapest new grilles i found were at rockauto.com by almost 100 bucks. 1996Ram318s fenders are solid.

For used just call local wreckers. Those grilles survived more because they are aluminum and can be bent back into shape, weareas the 91-93 grilles are plastic and brake for good.

I would like to get as much new as possible. Odd you say they are aluminum, the grill on my 82 was plastic.

no idea. just that they were the cheapest i could find (next to 96Ram).

yea, so to be clear it is the frame that is aluminum, with the inserts being plastic. the pre 81s are all aluminum. some of the plastic inserts can be very pricey since they also break. heres a question though, is the frame of the grille on your truck there not aluminum? I was just at the wrecker today and i could swear the one i was looking at was aluminum.

I see what you are getting at nemesis. And now that i looked at it while getting this picture with will need the aluminum frame for the grille also.

This is what my trucks looks like as of today. You can see i need a few things. Was going to get a radiator order from napa today.

I have ordered from Rockauto before, they are very reliable. They are probably the best place to go for oem replacement parts online.

I know for sure I have a 86-90 grille shell in good shape. Might also have a fender- have to have my buddy look. Someone abandoned a cherry 84 D150 swb at his house about 3 years ago. I'm keeping some parts to have backups for my 1stGen diesel, as I plan to drive them til parts are NLA.
