On one of the bolts on either front or rear dif there should be a tag that will tell you what gearing you have. I have noticed that Dodge seemed to favor 3.54 gearing in the halves.

That good info, but there is no tag on front or rear.

The best way would be to yank a cover and count the teeth of both the ring and pinion and divide.

I did a little checking and Richmond gears offers both a 4.10 ad a 4.56 in both the dana 60 as well as the 9.25. however if you swab to a 60 in the rear as well you can drop that even farther down to a 4.88 or 5.13 or even to a 5.38 which would be sweet if you wish to run a rock crawler. However for the most part unless you plan on doing some major off roading I believe the 4.10 or the 4.56 would be a good choice.

I swapped 60s under my 1/2 ton a long time ago and you can get 15" rims to fit 8 lugs if you can find them, the only thing you will have to do is grind the crap out of the caliper to get the rims to clear I know because thats what I had to do. Most 3/4 tons came with what was called a 44hd which only means heavy duty because its 8 lug, the 60 will bolt right in but you have to have the spring plates from the truck it came out of or a set from a dana 60 or it will not bolt in. The dimensions are the same no difference unless the 60 came out of a Chevy with those the spring perches are a little off, I know of guys that have forced the spring over to mount up on a Chevy 60 and that's too tight for me. I live in Statesville and see your in Mocksville?? Have to get together sometime and talk Dodges..............

The only places I have heard of is Uharrie (spelling) and Brown Mountain. I know there are places over towards the NC Tenn line like Tellico but none here in Statesville...
