Default 88 5.2 TBI floods and timing advanced

88 w100 pickup with 5.2,TBI and auto starts good. codes 33,37 and 45 are set. As it runs for 5-10 minutes, it starts to flood out. I can really smell gas and it starts to run bad. May even die. The timing seems to be over advanced when trying to restart. Fires early, kicks back and pops though TBI . I don't try too hard to get it restarted, for fear of breaking the starter. If I do start it, the temp gauge moves to high end after a few minutes.
Sensors seem to test ok. Have tried a different computer. What could cause the flooding and over advance besides computer?
Starts good again the next day.
