No luck eh? I had the same question about my '78 D200 and was told that it could have any one of 3 different set of gears. They are: 3.56, 4.11 & 4.56. I jacked up the rear and with the front wheels blocked, to prevent the truck rolling, and the trans in natural, I turned the right rear wheel one revolution while counting the number of times the driveshaft turned over. I then did some division and came out with approx 4.54. I then checked the gear vendor's web sites to see what gear ratios were available for a Dana 60. The closest one to what I calculated was 4.56. I hope this helps.
