Default Turbo Action Cheetah SCS Shifter Question

Hey guys, a buddy of mine gave me a Turbo Action Cheetah SCS forward valve body shifter for a 727 because he swapped for a keisler 5 speed in his Dart after he grenaded the 727.

My question is this:

My buddy had a manual valve body trans, but I’m putting a trans with a tci manual/automatic valve body in my 89 Ram, so can I still use this shifter even though it's not a full manual transmission? Transmissions make my head spin so any help on this would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

-Mark

That sounds like it`s going to be cool. I wish I could do that, but it wouldn`t really make much sense in a 4wd with a 10' flatbed. LOL.

Hey thanks! Yeah its gonna be a built 318 pushing around 400hp with a rebuilt 727 (manual/auto vb) and a beefed up 8 1/4 axle with steep gears, just a street machine mostly for getting ice cream cones and smoking the occasional ricer.
