You can still get them for the 96 Chevy Caprices. So I don't think they have been outlawed. But can't you turn that CEL off inside the PCM?

That seems to defeat the purpose of doing the engine sway. Electronics are a GOOD thing. I don't know why anyone would want to go back to a carb... Unless you don't take the time to understand the FI stuff.

dont forget. mopar performance has a "retrofit" wiring harness for magnum engines. It was developed with mopar action magazine. Stock LA exhaust manifolds will work but use the one without an egr port. Or use the 92 -93 truck manifolds. going to a carb, use an eddy manifold designed for magnums. -
