Hello all. I have been doing some shopping for a 1st gnereation posible second generation cummins 12v. I prefer a manual but they seem to be harder to come by. So my question is If I look for a cummins with a automatic was there more than one transmission available for these trucks back then? If so which one was the most reliable,and is there anyway of knowing this using the vin #? Any info is greatly appreciated,Thanks
