Default 92 dodge ram 150 shocks

just bought a 92 dodge 150 2wd and was wondering how hard it is to change the rear shocks ?

That is a pretty straight forward repair. If the shocks come with a containment strap do not cut this strap until after they are bolted in place.

Just did mine. Beware of rusted bolts if you are in salt country like me in Michigan. I had to cut the upper bolts and replace them.

i bolted mine on the bottom and they didnt reach the bracket at the top so i had to cut the strap and guide them in. luckily, the bolts were not seized together on mine but i can see how that could be a problem. i think you could fit a grinder in there if you had too though.

what tools will i need to do this ? other then replacing the shocks the truck is in amazing condition i stole it for 500 bucks !!
