Unhappy HELP! Want more power from 5.9L LA TBI!

So here's the scoop... 91 W150, 5.9L LA with TBI... I want more power, but I also want/need to remain emissions friendly. So that pretty much rules out switching to a trusty ol' carburetor. I've thought about doing a full Magnum 5.9 swap, a Magnum head+MPI swap, and I've even tried to find some things I can just do to my old doggy LA TBI, but I'm in Afghanistan right now and this is all a lot to wrap my head around, especially when I can't even go look at my truck for inspiration. I don't have a nice house with a garage to do the work, so most likely, it's going to be done by a local shop, which brings labor into the equation. So this is where you all come in... Suggestions? I'm not trying to spend an arm and a leg, but I don't have a set budget so if it's relatively reasonable, throw it at me. Thank you ahead of time. Oh, and another bonus would be maybe a slight improvement in gas mileage, but I don't think that's gonna happen unless i get rid of my 4 speed (with a granny first, and no OD) in favor of a NV3500/4500... Thoughts on that too, if you're feeling generous

Default jet power module

I was just checking out the Jet power module online... Anybody have experience with these in the LA TBI engines? Do they help at all?

i can sympathize with your position. ive been digging for emissions friendly power upgrades myself. there arent many. you can cam it, and maybe shave some metal to increase compression. cheap headers with o2 sensor bung are available from jeggs or summit - but if you also have AIR injection you are SOL unless you want to drill a hole in brand new header and pray you can make it work without leaks. ive decided my 91 is remaining stock, it just isnt worth the work
