Im lookin for a Full 318 and would like to have the matching transmission from 84-91 (as long as the 88-91 can be run using a carb) and as long as it has 150,000 miles and/or less on both that run and that can be shipped cheaply or are in or around Northern IL / Southern Wis / or Eastern Iowa areas

I have a 904 trans from a 1985 Ramcharger.

 

Huh, that ones unknown to me, could you give more info, like is it off a 318, how many gears does it have? 3 Speed?, 4 Speed? and how many miles and how good does it run?, and how much do you want for it and how much would it be to ship unless you dont live to far away from Northern IL

By the way do you possibly have a 318 since you have a tranny that was probably on one? (since the 318 was a common engine for the RamCharger)

 

I already sold the 318 locally about 6 months ago. The 904 is like a lighter duty 727. It`s a 3spd. It came froma truck with 120K miles and was working when I pulled it. And I am a little way off from northern IL. I am in southeast Texas, zip 77659. I really don`t know about the shipping, but I would estimate that it weighs probably 250-275lbs.

 

That dont sound like too bad of milage on it compared to mine, well im just wondering but how much for the tranny at least at this point

Yea im looking for carb in specific but ive heard that i can also bolt a carb up to one from 88-91 that have TBI
as long as it dosnt cost to much but i want more information about what your looking to sell and the condition and how much you want

Whats wrong with a 360 matching tranny and mounts

I just noticed that i missed that but theres nothing wrong with it but Ive heard the 360s really eat up the gas and im just looking for more power than a 3.9 that will burn about the same amount of gas though i think my 3.9 burning a bit lean because im only getting 12MPG in town and 18MPG on the highway and its because i can modify it to push out more power later down the road, and i think the engine mounts are the same with the 3.9 and 318 though i dont know about the 360
