i want to jack the front end up with a floor jack. the sticker on the hood has the place on the lower control arms. it will not work. can i put it on the frame very close to where the cab is bolted up? and will it be safe? thankyou

 

You can jack up on the frame or crossmember.
When it comes to jacking,no matter where you lift at always be careful and watch that the vehicle does not slide off the jack,block the wheels and make sure the jack rolls under the saddle and use jack stands.
