i have a 1996 dodge ram 2500 and i recently change the bulb for the driver front bumper light and when i put on low beam and turned the switch on it worked (the other one is missing a plug for light so ill buy that l8r) then the next day i did the same thing and it didnt work i dont know why, its a brand new light bulb and i doubt that it burned out that quick

 

Check your fuses, in addition check your wiring leading up to the lights to make sure they're not shorting out.
