The part throttle unlock solenoid is nothing but a standard solenoid doing a specific job. If you take the solenoid out and show it to a good parts store (car parts or electrical parts store) they should be able to give you a replacement for it. You should find a diagram on the outside of the solenoid of the internal workings of this solenoid and that is what the parts people will use to match it up.

I thought yours was bad from what your wrote. Mine doesn't have one either but I don't have a locking torque converter. My truck posts a code for this system every time I check codes even though the truck doesn't have this system. If the solenoid is not there you are probably in the same boat I am. I have owned this truck since it was new so I know its not just missing it was never there.

i just went through a bunch of stuff with this b/c i thought it was related to my highway stalling. But first, even if you truck is equipped with a lockup TQ, not having the solenoid shouldnt cause any harm other than slightly crappier gas mileage on the highway.
Dodge used the same harness regardless of what options the truck had, so the plug for the Part throttle unlock relay will be there. But if the truck never had a lockup TQ, i dont think that the relay holder would be bolted tot he firewall. its the last relay on the driver side, just behind the hood hinge.
when i went to replace this piece i took it to an auto electric guy. he handed me something with an identical prong pattern (its a flasher solenoid style) but it didnt measure the same resistance so be careful.
