Default 87 dodge 318 electrical

i recently did an did an engine swap on my truck and i have been using the wiring harness from the van i took the engine out of. i recently pulled the wiring harness out of an 86 or 87 dodge d150 that someone had for parts. i have been looking for the ballast on the truck wiring harness and i was wondering that since there is a computer of some sort in the in the fender if there is even a ballast at all? any help would be appreciated.

I am confused (often) this is a 1991 with a 1987 engine? aalso you want to use a 1986 or 1987 under hood harness......? why not use the vehicle 1991? harness..

1991 dodge d150 with an engine and transmition from 87 dodge b250 and under the hood harness from 1986 or 1987 d150. in order to use the wiring harness from the 1991 i would have to get a new intake manifold. plus i would preffer to keep it carburated which is simpler than throtlebody. i really would like to know i there is a ballast on the 87 dodge d150 with the computer.

On my 87 with the computer behind the left head light there is no ballast resistor.
I bought it new and there has been no modifications.
