Default 5.9 magnum in an 86 w150?

i have a 86 w150 4x4 with the 5.9 360 in it.

my valve seals are worn and i think i'm getting some oil leaking past the piston rings. i'm considering building a new engine for it and i've heard you can use the 5.9 magnum from the newer dodge trucks. i've also heard of using magnum parts on the older 5.9 for more HP. because of where i live, i can't let the truck sit too long so rebuilding the engine that's already in the truck won't work. i need to have them swapped within 3-4 days if possible(after the new engine is built)

so my questions are:

1) what will i need to make the magnum engine work in my truck(i.e. electronics, etc)?
2) i've heard you can change the magnum engine into a carb'd setup. how and what will i need?
3) would it be easier to find an already built magnum and just use the harness and ecu for the vehicle it comes out of?
4)will my stock tranny work with the magnum engine(i think it's a 727)?

if anyone has done this before, please let me know how you did it and also let me know anything i will need.

thanks
