1991 dodge ram 4 vacum hoses?

1991 dodge ram 4 vacum hoses?
I just bought a B150. When i look down at the engine from the front i can see 4 thin hoses on the left side that are plugged up what are those hoses for? They come out of the firewall on the left side.
