Plugs and wires?
Hello, I am new to this site. I have a 1987 Dodge Ram 150 with a 360 2 barrel carb. I have a noticable miss. I havn't changed the plugs and wires in quite a while. What is a good reasonably priced set of plugs and wires? I figured this is a good place to start to try and get rid of the miss. Thanks you for your time. I will have other questions once this one is taken care of!
I'll be interested to see if it fixes your problem.
I've changed out my plugs, wires, cap, rotor, ECU (the old one the insulator seal stuff literally melted out of it), coil, a bunch of vacuum lines...and I still have stumbly power loss and a miss when accelerating at lower RPMS. smooth as silk with power on the highway though, which is a little strange.

i would be more concerned about the plugs than the wires. i would pull the plugs and see if any of them look fowled up or if the gap is off. if they look ok then i would then check the cap and rotor.
Ok, thanks for all the ideas! I went yesterday and picked up a set of plugs along with a new cap/ rotor. Once the rain stopps, I will change them. Please stay tuned for updates! Thanks again for the help.
