air heater on the manifold

It may be on the carburated engines only.
I'm not familier with the throttle body injected models but their electronic controls probably eliminate the need for pre heated intake air.

My truck is carb and the air canister does have the hole for the hose that goes to the heater box

my old v6 thottle body injected engine had the hole for the heated air intake. there was no hose tho.
