Question stock axel / specs

I have a 93 Ram d150 long bed, regular cab, autp transmission.

As far as I can tell, the axel is original to the truck, but the plate seems to be missing, or it's so caked with grease and lime dust I can't see it...
I was wondering what the stock axel is,
From what I read elsewhere, it should be a dana 44, but I'm not positive.
also, internal specs would be nice.
I'm considering upgrading the truck to a 4x4, which I'm told I can do with the 93 due to re-use of the same frame for the w150. SO I'm going to keep my eyes out for a good used front axel, but need to know what I'm looking for.

aslo, what's a reasonable price for a used, non-rebuilt, good working order front axel?

I know, three questions. The main, most important, is - what axle do I have? (Or at least should I)

I will bet you can buy a 4x4 truck for less than it will cost to convert yours. You will need a lot more than a front axle.

Yeah, I can buy a 4x4 for about $2k
BUT, I won't get to build it
and my truck has some sentimental value.
