D100... fit 31x10.5?
#4
#5
my 93 D150 can not use 31s on the front, but they fot great on the back. If you don't plan to weigh down the bed you can fit 32s on there. The front on mine, I;m not sure if the suspension is shot or if its supposed to be lower, I've not had the money to replace, so no worried about it. But, 31x10.5 are too wide regardless and will limit your turn radios a bunch.
I think I ended up with 275 something on the front, narrower and shorter. It was a very nice ride, and the 31s on the back really seemed to help. The only problem with that is having to have two spares, one front, one rear.
Oh one other thing, apperantly the rear axel on my truck is not aligned center. One wheel was quite a bit closer to the wheel well wall than the other. It wasn't enough to worry about rubbing or anything, but I definatly could not put wider tires on there.
Again, this is for a 93 D150... Newer truck, and little higher model. If nothing else, see if they'll let you set the tire next to the truck for a minute, add an inch or two where it might be closest, that'll check for the 31, and then measure the crown of the traction on the tires you have, cut that in half, then add the differance of the overall width and 10.5 (so if your tires measure out at 8 inches, go from the center in to the wheel well and measure to 5.25 inch (4+1.25), then add an inch for saftey, if you have enough room, pop em on.
even with smaller on the front, you'll still get a better ride, and perhaps better gas mileage or traction.
Found out today I can get 31x10.5x15 for $125 each, not mounted. I'm going to wait on those
