Was the big block ever offered with overdrive?

Default Was the big block ever offered with overdrive?
Just wondering. My 440 came with a 727 but I'd really like to have overdrive.

Truck is an 84 D250 (2wd).

You can put a 518 in the big block housing, that's what I'm eventually doing with mine...
