help, i'm looking 4 drop spindles to lower ft. 3-4 inches, heard dakota spindles might work,does anybody have a clue?

 

yes dakota spindles work. Info is on another forum, cant remember which one. supposedly, you use the dakota drop spindles, 1976 new yorker rotors and maybe different tie-rod / sleeves. drop it a little farther by cutting a half coil.
