Default 4 Wheel drive steering pull

Hey fellas recently ive had to put my truck in 4x4 because of the snow ive noticed while in 4x4 the truck pulls pretty hard to the right on dry pavement. I have manually locking hubs and they are not matching. One is the red plastic one click type the other is the metal 360* turn type any idea what could be making this happen? Ive noticed it happens whether im on the gas or not. Thanks

Hubs are separate so the fact that they don't match means little except for the fact that one was obviously replaced due to a failure. Put it in 4x4, lock in the hubs, and jack up the front of the truck. Turn the front tires by hand to check that both hubs are actually locking in. I suspect you will find one of the hubs is not locking since you indicate the pull was pretty hard. Remember that unless you have posi-traction axles only one tire on each axle actually drives so some pulling is inevitable when on a hard surface. When was the last time the hubs were removed and re-greased?

I really have no idea I just bought the truck a little while ago. but it was takin care of fairly well. Does the truck need to be running to check if the wheels spin? or just in gear?

The truck should not be running. Put the truck in park. When you spin one tire the other should turn if the hubs are locked. If they both turn in the same direction you have posi-traction if they turn opposite directions you have a regular differential. This is important to know as they use different fluids and you will ruin the differential if you use the wrong fluid.
