Default Lift or 4X4 Conversion

I have a 1981 Dodge Ram W250 2WD and I'm trying to figure out the best way to lift the front end. I have lifted the rear since it has leaf springs, it was pretty easy to figure out, but I am having a hard time with the front. It's a hair more complicated. I'm also considering the possibility of converting it to a 4X4. How exactly do I go about that? Any information (especially with pictures) will be greatly appreciated!

Thanks!
Sam

Uh, it's a D250 if it's 2wd. All W-series are 4x4.

As for lifting the front, just get some coil spring spacers.

Ah all apologies. I have a D250. What about getting taller springs? It doesn't really look like it would lift it just by spacing the springs OR getting taller springs due to the double wishbone type configuration. Also what about the 4X4 option?

Not sure about the 4x4. You'd 100% would have to get a full donor truck... don't try to do this by buying parts here and there you'll spend a fortune.

Yeah I'm thinkin that a full conversion would be way more than me pile is worth haha. any running donor 4X4 dodge would be worth more! This thing is pretty beat. I'll probably just stick with a little lift for now if anyone has done it they should put some pictures up! Thanks!
