Default Newbie needa a roof!

Just jumped on this forum to try and find a roof for my 85 dodge 4 dr . Mine is all rusted out, and I need a whole truck or just the roof--hoping somewhere close to Minnesota.

Any help would be appreciated

Roof? It'd be best to swap the cab... you COULD cut the roof off but you'd have to make sure you get it welded up tight or you could have structural problems!

I'd do a whole cab if I could find a good one. Usually they are rusted out on the bottom, so getting a roof may be easier

I'll take what I can get!

it is hard to find a crew cab. my dad use to have one that was in great shape body and frame wise but he ended up scrapping it because there was way more work that needed to be done to it than he had time to do to it. plus he had no place to keep it.

There have been lots of the old Dodges gone by the wayside that were in great shape for parts or even restoreable but Dodges weren't very popular for a long time so they went away because of storeage issues or just sold for scrap. It is a real shame now looking back at some of the ones that I knew of but they are still gone.

Well, maybe someone has a lead somewhere. Lot of people on the forum.

We have already changed out the engine, dash, everything from a rusty dodge with cummins, which was really cool the way it bolted in from the donor truck. heater, wiring--everything! Now we have Air conditioning! We made it a dually--added a box from a 95. Now we just need to fix a bad roof. It was fixed badly sometime earlier.
