Hey, my rear bumper is pretty hurtin... I found a 02 rear bumper I was going to paint to match the rest of my truck.

Anybody ever done this conversion? Will it fit easily or take some tinkering around? And how did you like the look?

I think I seen one 1st gen with this done before and it seemed to look not too bad. But I didn't get thoroughly look it over.

i read in the 2nd gen section somewhere that you you could put a 1st gen rear bumper on a 2nd gen vehicle so i would have to guess that it would work the other way.

I just tried to put a 94 rear bumper on my 84.... bad idea, didnt realize the 94 bumper is not long enough to cover the back of the truck so i had 2 inches of truck box sticking out of either end. oh well I tried
