91 dodge ram 150 wont start

Default 91 dodge ram 150 wont start

I have a 91 dodgeram 150 v6 it wont start. I put on a new coil new plugs new distributor and distributor button new wires. It turns over (it seems to turn over very fast) i get spark the fuel pump works and im getting gas(ive even sprayed starter fluid in the carb/throttle body with no results) It was stalling out and hard starting intermitently before it went totaly kaput

you could try adjusting the timing.

Stalling out and hard starting are symptoms of an EGR valve sticking open and if it sticks totally in the open position it will prevent starting so you might check that. I have a homemade plate and gasket that I use to replace the EGR valve temporarily for trouble shooting. If that doesn't fix the problem I reinstall the EGR and go on to something else.
