headers on 1989 d150

Default headers on 1989 d150

I beat and cut to get passenger side header on 89 d150 318 2wd, summit brand header. Having a heck of a time with driver side, cut frame a little , hitting fire wall alot do i cut it too ? any help, hints, advice would be greatly appreciated.

you musta got the wrong headers.. mine bolted on no problem, and mine were cheap summit headers aswell..

My dad had a similar problem with his 360 headers. He had to get them cut up and re welded so they fit. He used them for a year, bought new ones, and the new ones fit perfectly.
I think his were hookers though.

should fit fine. Try returning them or getting a different brand.
