Post Lifts for a D150???

Hey, Im new to the forum. I have a 1984 D150 longbox, with a 318. Grampa left me his truck when he passed. Now I put some 31" tires on it, but I want to get it to lift an extra couple inches. I dont want it savagly jacked up, and yes I have been asked "why jack up a 2wd?". I am wondering if maybe I can swap the front and rear from say a 91-93ish cummings 2wd, or if there is any other suggestions as to how I can do this cheap and easily. I work at a slavage/wrecking yard that my family owns so spare parts are not a problem.

First comes a lift, then comes the engine. Thank you for your help.

From what I have heard( I plan on doing this myself in 6 weeks) it coil spacers in the front and blocks in the back. I have found 3" spacers on ebay for $45 shipped. Blocks im still kind of salvaging for. I'm hoping to be able to go to junkyard and find some, they seem just like blocks of steel with a few holes.

This being said, I have not done this, so I would wait for someone who is more experienced to verify this.
