Question Interchangable LA SB parts

Ok guys I'm looking to add a bit more grunt to my 89 d150 p/u with the 5.9 360. I've built a great little 318 for my 69 Fury III using 340 heads a milc cam weind intake and q-jet carb. My question is will I run into any problems using similar bolt-ons for this TBI 360. I might just start with a 340 intake and 4 barrel card and swap out the exh. manifolds for headers. any one out there try this what were the results. what compressin ratio does the 89 360 have & how will it be affected by changing to 340 #915 J heads ? I know this is a silly question considering what I'm looking to do, but can I build a strong ,powerful 360 that could get decent gas mileage, 15+ or better mpg???

i think will have to do alot of custom wiring to convert it to carburated. i don't think you will get too much better than 15 mpg with a 360. 318's are lucky to get between 18-25 if they have all the right parts.
