I recently bought a mint 1986 d150 Royal SE, and wondering what makes a Prospector package. I've barely found anything online, but have found a few things about the Prospector package, which my truck seems to have. My truck was repainted a few years ago, and maybe the emblems were left off, or maybe it isn't a prospector at all.

I would appreciate it if anyone had any knowledgeable information regarding the Prospector package.

I have a Royal SE also. What did you find out and where? I think they made a Royal and a Prospector combined

 

Post some pics of your truck and someone may be able to point out some difference from model to model.
