Hay all,
I'm looking to get ideas from other 1st Gen Ram owners about, well... Anything! Simple fixes, cheap power adders, suspension tricks, you name it. I figure if we can get this thread going it will be an awesome resource for anyone with a Ram. Not to mention I for one am always looking for a way to make truck just bit more awesome.

if you have a small leak in your power steering system you can use 10w30 or 5w30 to slow the leak if not completly stop it in some cases.

After 20 or so years, your throttle cable can stretch. Pick the pedal up the whole way, and put zip ties or washers between where the pedal touches the cable, and the crimp. This way, your pedal sits higher, allowing you to actually get more cable extension when floored without altering the rest position of the cable or messing with your idle or other tuning.

If you have set the timing and the engine will not run correctly at the factory setting do a static timing check to see if the outside harmonic balancer ring has shifted on its internal rubber mount.
