Mine still has the stock wheels, and I'm wondering what size tire I can get on it. 225/70R15 looks to be OEM size. Think a 30x9.5R15 would work? Thats only around 240 width equivalent I think.

 

I don't know how much taller the D250 suspension is but I have 31x10.5x16.5 on there with no rubbing.

 

Aye, but you also have wheels as well as the tires. I've got the stock wheels, MONSTROUS 15 inch that they are. Only thing I'm concerned about is the width. It's got 225 or 235 on it now, and the 30x9.5 are a little wider.

What wheels are these? I've seen them on a red short bed late 80s ram around my house and they look pretty good also.

 

the picture is too small to be able to tell what type of wheels are on the truck in that picture. i think might be thinking about rally rims. i can't find any pictures and my set i burried under 4 other tires in my basement so i can't take pictures.

edit:found some pics after a lot of searching. i like the second set way better.

I agree...second set is way better! Definately better then my stock 10 slit wheels.

 

That 2nd truck is mine, except my paint is in pretty bad shape. The guy that owned it before me tried to wash it with a power sprayer and the paint started coming off in huge patches. It does still have the hood ornament though! What are the wheels on the 2nd one, I like them way much.
