Replacing a 2 barrel carb on my 85 D150, Do I have to get one with the electric feedback valve,,,,,,,,and what is it anyways?

Yes. The Electronic Feedback Carburetor system is your emissions system. It isn't like leaving the cat off. The EFC directly controls air/fuel mixture and if it were missing the engine could essentially stay in open loop mode. The EFC also works in conjunction with the Spark Control Computer that delivers variable spark advance during cold engine operation. So really, its better to be safe than sorry.

Can I just take ad-ons from my carb and install on another? Well I know I can but will it work? :>
